The Hare and the Lion for kids

In a previous time, a lion lived in the jungle. He controlled the animal kingdom. He often slaughtered a lot of animals. The wildlife was terrified. They were constantly terrified of getting killed.

The animals once convened in a conference. Hare got to his feet. He was a knowledgeable man. He revealed an idea. Other animals made fun of it. What can a little creature like you do, they asked? I'll complete this task using trick rather than power, the hare retorted. Since there was no other option, they concurred.

They moved for the lion. He informed him that another lion in the forest was out to get him. It appears to the lion to be a challenge to his dominance. To exhibit other lions, he instructed him. He was taken to a deep well by the hare. Looking down into the well, the lion noticed his reflection in the water and compared it to that of another lion. He fell in and perished.
